7. The Rock Isn't Really His Cousin

As much as WWE are keen to refer to The Rock and Roman Reigns as cousins, and play up the significance of their family bond, it's not strictly true. Their grandfathers were self-proclaimed 'blood brothers', forging a strong bond between two of Samoa's most influential wrestling dynasties - but no blood is actually shared between Reigns and the Brahma Bull. We can probably forgive WWE for skirting over this minor detail, especially as it doesn't seem to have worked very well. Even when Rock came out to help Roman win the 2015 Royal Rumble, the fans continued to boo the hell out of the company's golden boy. Hopefully, for Reigns' sake, he can take inspiration from the fact that Rocky's initial babyface run was met with similar resistance but he turned out rather well, all things considered.
