Every generation has their professional wrestlers that can't seem to stay away from controversy, and for the WWE New Era that crown falls squarely on the head of Seth Rollins. The Architect has been on WWE's main roster for four years now, and he has achieved more in those four years than any of his peers whilst courting controversy at pretty much every step of the way.

Whether it is getting involved in backstage politics, the odd Twitter war or making legitimate wrestling legends retire Seth Rollins is never far from the headlines. Eric Bischoff famously said that controversy creates cash, but this isn't quite as pertinent in the PG world.

There are a number of discretions in Seth Rollins' distant and recent past that I'm sure WWE management would love for fans to conveniently forget, things that Rollins and WWE would love to be left in the back of the cupboard and covered up with accolades and success.

Seth Rollins' rise to the top has been an uncomfortable one to say the least, a ride that could have seen Rollins thrown off of on a number of occasions. There have been casualties along the way, both personal and professional.

Here are 10 things WWE wants you to forget about Seth Rollins.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
