Whilst it might not seem like a big deal to the everyman on the street, shaking hands is a big deal in the weird old world of professional wrestling. It is a sign of respect to extend one's hand to everyone and anyone in the backstage area, to acknowledge the sacrifices and commitment all must give to the industry.

Keeping in line with his snotty rebellious reputation, Rollins' reportedly let his initial success in WWE go directly to his noggin' in 2013. As a result he became somewhat tardy when it came to backstage handshaking, which led in turn to minor heat and a supposed demotion in the pecking order. The main source of complaint seemed to be none other than Big Show, a veteran and much respected member of the locker room.

If you were ever wondering why The Usos were seemingly able to challenge Rollins and Reigns in the summer of 2013 all of a sudden, look no further.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
