10 Things You Didn't Know About Emma
7. Emma Attended WWE's Global Warning Tour
On August 10, 2002 (a scant 15 days before SummerSlam), WWE presented Global Warning from the massive Colonia Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. The card's main event was a Triple Threat Match pitting The Rock against both Triple H and the emerging Brock Lesnar, and Emma was in attendance to see it all.
The event didn't air on pay-per-view, but did receive a home video release worldwide a few months later. It remains the only time WWE have produced such a show in Australia, even though the company have toured there for live events since.
This was Emma's first ever WWE show, one she says felt like WrestleMania at the time because it was all new to her; incidentally, she didn't get to see her beloved Steve Austin, because Stone Cold had fallen out with WWE several months beforehand, and was yet to return.
Mainly presented as a juiced-up house show, Global Warning did boast names like Edge, Randy Orton, Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho on the card, and included a great match between Y2J and Edge that's well worth seeking out.
