6. Two PWI Awards

On top of her Clockwork Orange House of Fun escapades, a rather more esteemed record that Mickie James can boast is that she’s been named the PWI Woman of the Year on two separate occasions.

Mickie first won the award in 2009 for her work in WWE, before claiming the title two years later in 2011, this time whilst performing for TNA.

As a point of comparison, even the legendary Lita only managed to scoop the accolade once, while the likes of Beth Phoenix and Gail Kim have somehow never even won it at all.

That being said, she’s not necessarily the most successful woman in PWI history; AJ Lee won the Woman of the Year crown three years in a row between 2012 and 2014, and Trish Stratus managed to notch four wins to her name between 2002 and 2006. Admittedly though, all of both Trish and AJ’s award came during their time under the sizeable spotlight of WWE, making Mickie the only woman to have claimed the honour for two different organisations.
