10 Things You Didn't Know About Bash At The Beach
1. Three Moments Of Hogan
Hulk Hogan has cropped up in nearly every entry on this list, and there's a fine good reason for that. Bash At The Beach marked three huge moments in the career of 'The Real American'.
In 1994, he made his WCW in-ring debut, capturing his first of six WCW World Heavyweight Championships as he defeated Ric Flair in the evening's main event. 1996 saw him turn heel, revealing himself as the third man by joining Kevin Nash and Scott Hall in their match against Sting, Lex Luger, and Randy Savage. Just like that, The New World Order was born, with the group doing great things to assist WCW in their ratings war with the World Wrestling Federation.
Finally, in 2000, Hulk would have his final appearance for WCW, 'defeating' Jeff Jarrett to capture his sixth and final World Championship for the company. With everything that happened following the bell, he would never step foot in a WCW ring again, eventually returning to WWE two years later alongside Nash and Hall.
Shawn Michaels may call himself 'Mr WrestleMania', but Hulk Hogan is undoubtedly 'Mr Bash At The Beach'. Doesn't quite have the same ring to it, but we'll go with it anyway.
