Not only is Finn Balor one of the most accomplished wrestlers on the WWE roster, but he could probably beat most of his colleagues in a real fight, too.

Balor came to the UK to learn how to become a professional wrestler, but he also took great interest in traditional martial arts, and joined the International Budo Federation during his time in England. There, Finn focused his energies on training in the art of CombatSombo: an extension of Sambo, a Russian self-defence system focusing primarily on throws an submissions.

Balor earned himself a first degree black belt in submission wrestling during his time with the IBF: an accomplishment he still ranks among the proudest of his career. Knowing this, it's no surprise that Balor looks such a crisp, precise technician when his matches hit the ground.
