10 Things You Didn't Know About Toni Storm

1. She Started Wrestling At 13

If you thought Toni Storm winning the NXT UK Women's Championship at age 23 was impressive, you'll probably be stunned to find out she had been wrestling for almost a decade by that point.

Storm discovered and immediately fell in love with wrestling when she was 10-years-old and wasted no time in seeking training. Within three years, she started her journey at an Australian affiliate of Impact Pro Wrestling and competed in her first match as Storm in October 2009 when she was 13.

Although her mom wasn't super supportive of her dream to one day wrestle for WWE at that point, she eventually came around to the idea and allowed her to move to England at 18 where she could further her career.

Drawing inspiration from The Hardy Boyz, Mickie James and Mötley Crüe, Storm managed to merge her two passions and find happiness within the wrestling business.

To call Storm a "seasoned veteran" at this stage of her career would be premature, but she's also no rookie. She's achieved quite a bit in her 10-plus years in wrestling and is well on her way to becoming one of WWE's biggest stars if she continues along the path that brought her to the dance in the first place.
