As if to highlight how near-perfect NXT's year was in 2015, the exit of former Performance Center gaffer Bill DeMott in March was largely forgotten in the post-script.

An slew of abuse allegations brought forth at the time were far from the first levied against him over the years, with one of the most damaging coming as result of a leaked email from Austin "Luchasaurus" Matelson, who'd noted on Twitter after it had been viewed by the public that it was "an internal cry for help when I truly felt I had nowhere to turn". A #FireBillDeMott hashtag trended as stories old and new were told.

The memo can be viewed in full here, and goes into a level of detail many might be uncomfortable with. DeMott refuted all the allegations as part of his resignation, noting how he was leaving to protect the integrity of WWE rather than as an admission of any wrongdoing.

He's not worked in the industry since.
