10 Things You Learn From Boycotting WWE For One Year
3. WWE Were Right To Shelve Daniel Bryan (As Much As That Sucks)
Obviously missing from Raw was the hottest property of 2014 and the guy whose poor treatment was one of the reasons I stopped watching WWE at the start of the year. Daniel Bryan is unlike anyone else in WWE today. He is not only phenomenally talented, but his goofiness and lack of ability in areas that WWE cherish (like on the microphone) endears him to us as fans, rather than alienating us. I had heard he was injured again, but really knew nothing of it, so when he was so noticeably absent from Raw I got a quick recap from the internet of what happened. And I hate to say it, but from where I sit as someone coming back after a hiatus, it looks like WWE were totally right in being so hesitant on bringing him back. This may be old news to some of you but it made me reflect on just how silly a lot of internet hate can be, and how easy it is to get caught up in conspiracy theories regarding what goes on at WWE. We were sure that it was purely spite that was directing McMahon from not allowing to Bryan to wrestle. Bryan said he was fine after all, so he must have been. Obviously given how prone he has been to injuries, and given the fact that he may not wrestle in WWE again, Bryan is clearly not fine. Its a tragedy, and a kick to the stomach for those of us that loved his presence, but clearly WWE were in the right here, and I am not enjoying the taste of this humble pie.
