1. Mr. Perfect Should Have Won The Royal Rumble

It's been said before, but Hulk Hogan really didn't need to win the 1990 Royal Rumble. Those crying out that it was to set up a WrestleMania meeting with The Ultimate Warrior should pay attention to the fact that a Rumble win didn't get you anything in 1990.

There was no ticket to a title match at 'Mania for winning the thing, Hogan was the reigning WWF Heavyweight Champion. Therefore, his Rumble win didn't do much for the company as a whole. If anything, it would have made more sense to have Warrior win it, but someone else entirely would have benefited.

Mr. Perfect was the last one to be eliminated by Hogan, but he would have represented a good choice. The WWF knew their plan was to give Warrior the keys to the main event kingdom for good at WrestleMania, and he badly needed good heels to work with.

By having Hogan swat Perfect off at the Rumble and beat him on the Saturday Night's Main Event in April, the company hurt the potential to grow a great opponent for Warrior as champion.
