Shawn Michaels is one of the biggest and most respected in-ring performers in WWE history, and that will never change. He has headlined WrestleMania cards, bagged numerous top titles and even won back-to-back Royal Rumble bouts. In 1990, he was treated like little more than a nuisance, enhancement talent that was a waste of a number in the 30-man match.

Entering as number 26, the future HBK had the dubious honour of coming out right after the crowd had went bananas for Hulk Hogan. A stand off between Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior seemed imminent, making Michaels mere collateral. The great Shawn Michaels lasted just 12 seconds in the match.

Hurled over the top rope by Warrior, he was barely in the match long enough to draw breath. It's crazy to see one of the greatest ever treated in such a fashion, a mere five years before he was celebrating a Rumble victory himself.

Shawn's sprint to the ring was almost as long as his time spent inside the thing.
