10 Things You May Have Missed From WWE Raw (Jul 2)

2. Kevin The Coward

Kevin Owens Fight Anyone

The main event and post-match angle have dominated much of the discussion on this week's Raw, and understandably so. It was a lame, clichéd scene that left one internet favourite looking like a piece of s***, and another doused in the stuff. But regardless of whether or not you think Braun Strowman buried Kevin Owens, the victim's choice of attire was smart.

KO came to the ring clad in his "FIGHT ANYONE" t-shirt. He then proceeded to run away from Strowman, hide in a Porta Potti, only to emerge covered in blue gloop.

From a character standpoint, that's perfect. Owens is no longer 'The Prizefighter' of old. He's a yellow-bellied coward. A chicken-s*** heel. The kind of guy who flees rather than fights. Thus, the irony of his t-shirt versus who he really is is right on the money. Owens should be a massive hypocrite. He regularly veers too far into babyface territory by virtue of being awesome at his job, but moments like this pull him back to the right side of the alignment scale.
