10 Times "Best For Business" WWE Decisions Sucked
5. Cancelling Flair Vs. Hogan
This one really sticks in the craw, because not only was it to the detriment of WrestleMania VIII as a spectacle to scrap plans for a Flair Hogan bout, it was also a pretty questionable decision when it comes to business.
But, according to reports at least, it was monetary considerations that ultimately prompted the all-knowing Vince McMahon to shelve (indefinitely, as it turned out) the long-awaited showdown between two of wrestling's biggest names in 1992.
This was because he felt putting his poster-boy, Hogan, up against a more natural bad guy instead of another crowd favourite would prove a bigger box office draw.
And while there's no denying Sid's star power, he probably didn't appear in the WrestleMania match of most fans' dreams.
