10 Times Brock Lesnar's Ego Ran Wild In WWE
4. His Extreme Rules Flip-Out
Speaking of John Cena, his Extreme Rules 2012 clash with Brock Lesnar was fantastic, but ended in a loss for 'The Beast.'
There was a sweetener, though. Cena was always going to win, but the original plan had him so beaten up that he wouldn't be able to leave the ring on his own accord. John would've been carried out by EMTs, then loaded onto an ambulance, thus selling the beatdown he'd received in victory, putting Lesnar's onslaught over in the process.
But the plans changed. Instead of leaving a bloodied, broken, and beaten man, Cena popped up soon after the match, and cut a promo for the audience. It totally undermined everything that him and Brock had planned, and Lesnar wasn't happy.
'The Beast' went on an absolute tear backstage, rampaging through the halls, kicking up furniture, and getting in officials' faces. The whole thing sounds terrifying, and it's a good job that Triple H was on-hand. With Lesnar feeling he'd been undermined by Cena, 'The Game' reportedly talked him down from his anger, which was understandable, but provoked a petulant reaction.
