10 Times Brock Lesnar's Ego Ran Wild In WWE

3. Blading At 'Mania 31

A complete lack of intentional bloodletting has been a hallmark of WWE's PG era since its inception. Colour is out. If a wrestler gets busted open these days, it's usually accidental, and wrestlers are under strict instructions not to slice themselves open, thus maintaining the company's family-friendly image.

Despite this, it's widely believed that Brock bladed himself during his WrestleMania 31 match, providing yet another example of the current Universal Champion deciding he's above the rules.

Few noticed the apparent blading at the time, but talk circulated when a small clip of the match started doing the rounds online. In it, the referee is shown clearly handing something thought to be a blade to Reigns. Roman then handed it over to Brock, and while the actual slicing wasn't captured, 'The Beast' was bleeding when the cameras returned to him.

To be fair to Lesnar, it created a great visual. Him and Reigns were already having a fantastic match, and the illusion that Roman had busted his imposing foe open made him look like a badass. Still, it was a direct violation of one of WWE's strictest rules.
