John Cena lost clean to The Rock in the main event of WrestleMania 28 in 2012. The next night on Raw, he was in the ring asking The Rock to come out to the ring. Instead, the crowd was chanting for somebody else that was a really big name. They got him: Brock Lesnar. Lesnar wasn't announced for Raw that night although there were online reports that he was in the Miami area and that he was returning to WWE after being away for eight years. It was only fitting that it was Cena that was in the ring for that moment because if it was anybody else it really wouldn't have mattered as much. Despite losing one night earlier, Cena was unquestionably the biggest name in WWE. It was one of the loudest ovations in WWE history as Lesnar walked around the ring with the crowd chanting "holy s**t" before he even did anything. Lesnar wasn't there to congratulate Cena. He was there to send a message and that's exactly what he did: Lesnar hit a F5 on Cena. Then he left. Message sent. That was a massive moment in the history of Raw and it was another instance where Cena took a beating in order to put a moment over. Great job by both guys.
