As co-announcer with Booker T's utterly insane 'Black Snow' alter ego, Nash was impeccably cast as an affable sports broadcaster that just happened to not give a sh*t about the sport he was covering.

Ahead of February 2009's Against All Odds pay-per-view, the group took over the whole January 29th edition of the show. Scott Steiner performed ring announcing duties, Sharmell was on all backstage interviews, while Kurt Angle produced the event with graduating frenzy.

The Main Event Mafia during a feud with TNA's 'Front Line' that never really saw the babyfaces get any significant comeuppance, but that wasn't really a worry. The promotion itself had long become a place more controlled by patter than performance, and these two had it in spades on the night. Mercilessly ribbing their rivals before occasionally getting in there and doing damage themselves, Nash as Chet Lemon held the show together with some sizzling comedy from the booth.

Some argued it was detrimental to the product, but anybody that watched Impact regularly knew the normal booking could be accused of that approximately once a week.
