10 Times Triple H Actually Made Legit WWE Stars
7. Seth Rollins
It's hard to believe now, but Seth Rollins was once deemed the least likely member of The Shield to become a major singles star. Roman Reigns had Vinnie Mac wet dream written all over him, and people were talking about Dean Ambrose like the next coming of Roddy Piper. Seth was a third wheel despite his talent.
That didn't change until he turned on his buddies and sided with Triple H.
'The Game' revealed Rollins as his "Plan B" and then took every chance he could to verbally extol Seth's virtues to the watching world. Triple H became Rollins' manager without that ever being expressly said, and he did his best Bobby Heenan-style sell job by treating his new pet project like Ric Flair in his prime.
Years later, Trips did the physical J.O.B in a 'Non-Sanctioned' match for his old pupil at WrestleMania 33. Though it's hardly the best match either man ever had, it did give Rollins that career-boosting win as a babyface, and it showed Triple H was a team player.
