10 Times Triple H Actually Made Legit WWE Stars
6. Roman Reigns
A team player who did his part in Vince McMahon's non-stop crusade to make Roman Reigns the most popular man in WWE history.
The plan would ultimately fail, but that's hardly Triple H's fault. He tried to repeat the same trick he'd pulled with someone else (more on that later) and then stared at the lights for Reigns at WrestleMania 32 despite the glaring evidence that fans weren't buying Roman as anything other than an over-pushed poster boy.
People can smugly dismiss 'Mania 32's main event as an aberration all they like, and they have. The fact remains that Trips worked his tail off to elevate Reigns and do his master's bidding for the presumed betterment of the company as a whole. Again, it's not his fault the confetti-laden celebrations fell flat.
WWE gave Reigns a huge rub by programming him with one of the biggest stars around, and they depicted Hunter's overbearing Authority as a self-serving demon every top babyface is expected to exorcise.
Triple H did his best here.
