10 Times Vince McMahon Got Revenge
8. Jeff Jarrett
Jeff Jarrett bounced between the WWE and WCW during the times of the companies' most pointed feuds. His final stint with the WWE was particularly notorious for the manner in which he left. Prior to jumping ship to WCW again, Jarrett needed to lose the Intercontinental Championship to Chyna at No Mercy 1999.
With his contract expired, Jarrett demanded a huge wad of money from Vince McMahon to work the one night and lose his title. Vince, backed into a corner, agreed.
But he never forgot.
When the WWE purchased an ailing WCW in 2001, Vince made a point of explaining to the audience just how far his mercy extended to those who had wronged him. He indicated a monitor showing Jarrett, and his face turned into a mask of limitless hate as he stated that "J, E, double F" would be "capital G, double O, double N, double E... gone!"
It was perhaps the most blatant Vince ever was about his capacity to bear a grudge. As far as he was concerned, Jarrett had played WWE and WCW off each other to extort as much money as possible, and to this day Jarrett has never been forgiven.
