3. Wrestling Is Real? No!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cZtuwjdPJU The problem with shoot angles, or "worked shoots," in pro wrestling is that, by definition, they remind the viewing audience that wrestling is predetermined. We know the truth, but we really don't need to be reminded of it while we're watching a show. Nevertheless, Vince Russo never met a worked shoot he didn't like, and in WCW he went over the top. Goldberg's heel turn (which, yes, was even dumber than Sting's) was in full effect when he, Kevin Nash, and Scott Steiner were scheduled to collide in a three-way match at the New Blood Rising Pay-Per-View. During the match, Nash attempted a Jackknife Powerbomb on Goldberg, but he simply shoved him away and left the ring. Russo tried to stop Goldberg, but in return, "Da Man" gave him the finger and shouted "F**k you!" in his face.

The following night, Goldberg was a babyface again and Russo was irate that his top star refused to "follow the script." He sicced former UFC fighter Tank Abbott, who was boy band Three Count's bodyguard 24 hours earlier, on Goldberg, but the former World Heavyweight Champion dispatched of the shootfighter. Russo turned to Scott Steiner, who ended up meeting Goldberg in a match at Fall Brawl and -- well, the video above really explains it best. Yeah, it's wrestling. We expect you to lie to us a little, but don't lie to us about lying to us.
