One thing that Eric Bischoff seemed to realise long before Vince McMahon, was using the natural rivalry between WCW and the WWF to his advantage. Months before McMahon had pensioners dress up as Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage, Bischoff had Madusa drop the WWF Women's Title in the trash. It was a warning shot that reverberated around the wrestling world.

Those infamous 'Billionaire Ted' skits did little for the WWF. Fans were far from enthused to see McMahon tear down some of their favourites from a bygone era, and the segments only really put eyes on the WCW product. By stark contrast, WCW looked edgy by having Madusa dump a WWF belt in a nearby bin, and the stunt reportedly left McMahon seething.

For Madusa, who was angry at the way she'd been treated during her WWF run, this was a little payback. The female performer directly disparaged a title Vince McMahon himself hadn't really been all that interested in, and promised to move forward in WCW. It was a new dawn for her career, and even former WWF staff like Bobby Heenan looked excited by the segment.
