10 Times Wrestlers No-Sold Killer Moves

2. Hulk Hogan No-Sells Ultimate Warrior's Big Splash

Then-WWF Champion Hogan's "Winner Take All" match with then-Intercontinental Champion The Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 6 was an epic clash for the ages; a war between the industry's two most unstoppable superheroes, one of whom would be crowned the first concurrent World and Intercontinental Champion in WWF history. While a bout between these two was never going to be a masterclass in technical wrestling, it was still a thoroughly enjoyable match. Sure, it was put together move-for-move by Pat Patterson, but it was still paced rather nicely so as to work around the Warrior's limitations.

The ending of the match saw Warrior capitalize on a missed Leg Drop by Hogan by hitting him with the Warrior Splash for the three-count. Or, more appropriately, the 3.000001-count.

Hogan kicked out the very instant after the referee's hand came down for the three and, instead of selling the offense, drew attention to himself with some "soap opera bad" acting as he pointed up at the sky and cursed out God for making him lose. Even though this was supposed to be Warrior's crowning moment, ol' Thunderlips just had to steal the thunder from his paradise.
