10 Times Wrestlers Went Totally Off Script

6. The Rock Meets Cosplayers

His WWE appearances these days being few and far between, The Rock tends to push the boat out during those rare occasions when he takes to the Monday Night Raw ring.

This includes (but is not limited to): cutting a 20-minute, uninterrupted promo, the use of normally prohibited cuss-words, and best of all, burying de facto face of the company John Cena.

All of that was there on the 25 January 2016 edition of the show, where The Great One - having got into a verbal joust with The New Day - referred to the trademark unicorn horns the trio wear on their heads as "llama penises".

That, however, wasn't what had WWE producers reaching for the mute button. Rather, it was when he spotted a group of wrestling cosplayers standing in the front row, and decided that - having gone to so much effort - they deserved a little time on the mic. Sounds fun, but not everyone saw it that way.

This is because two of the fans were dressed as the once black-listed Randy Savage and - a few months on from the release of that audio recording - Hulk Hogan.

Vince was said to be furious with his A-list guest, but what was he going to do? Fire him?
