By contrast, this might not seem like a big deal. Still counts though.

The WWF organised a public workout for Mike Tyson before WrestleMania XIV. This publicity stunt was designed to promote the boxing bad boy's involvement in the upcoming Steve Austin vs. Shawn Michaels headliner, but it almost ended in disaster for HBK.

Whilst cutting a promo in-ring, Michaels was struck with a battery. The offending item hit him in the head, likely causing a bruise, and the attack incensed Shawn to the point that he decided to walk out and tell everyone in attendance to go f*ck themselves. Again, who can really point the finger of blame at him for being upset?

Officials managed to calm Michaels down and get him back out there to complete the segment, but he was lucky to escape without a more serious injury. It's worth noting that Shawn wasn't exactly in a great place mentally in early-1998 - this almost pushed him over the edge.
