10 Times Wrestling Fans Booed The Good Guys
2. Roman Reigns
Honestly, this list could have just been "10 Times Roman Reigns Was Booed Out Of The Building".
Looking back at Roman Reigns' babyface run, it seems objectively impossible to call it a disaster: This is a man who won multiple world titles and main-evented WrestleMania four years in a row and was given the honour of beating the Undertaker at WrestleMania 33.
But as the saying goes, there are lies, damned lies and statistics. Roman may have posted impressive numbers as a good guy, but the biggest number was the decibel level reached by the crowd's boos whenever he entered the ring.
The nadir was undoubtedly his Royal Rumble victory in 2015, where Roman's victory was vehemently rejected by the audience. Even a last-minute appearance by the Rock failed to assuage the fans' anger, as Roman and a visibly confused Dwayne Johnson were engulfed in a tsunami of derision.
It took years, but WWE eventually saw sense with Roman finally turned him heel last year. Reigns has been the best thing in WWE since his transformation into the megalomaniacal "Head of the Table", showing that sometimes the fans really do know best.
