8. Dakota Kai Targets Tegan Nox After Her Friend Refused To Speak Up
Unquestionably one of the biggest shock turns in NXT history, Dakota Kai's decision to suddenly target best friend Tegan Nox during her WarGames match entrance at the 2019 TakeOver event stunned the world.
But it shouldn't have really.
In the weeks leading up to TakeOver: WarGames, 'The Captain of Team Kick' was left out of Rhea Ripley's squad for the epic cage match. And rather than vouch for her rejected pal or having her back after such a soul-crushing moment in her career, Nox simply kept quiet in the background.
It didn't matter that Kai managed to find a way into the match down the road, the damage had already been done.
The pair had been best pals for years and seemingly looked out for one another all this time. But the second Nox got the chance to be a part of history, she didn't even think about at least trying to squeeze her mate into the historic first-ever women's WarGames match, too.
