10 Times WWE Attitude Era Went Too Far

6. The Kat Flashes The Audience

During the Attitude Era, WWE wasn't particularly shy about letting performers show a little skin. In truth, it was practically required for female members of the roster in those days.

Still, for the most part, the company stayed within PG-13 guidelines when it came to the level of nudity that was permitted. However, at an Armageddon pay-per-view back in 1999, the promotion decided to take things to the next level. That night, after winning an Evening Gown Pool match (yes, that was really a match), The Kat decided to tear her top off, in what would go down as the first time intentional nudity was permitted on a WWE program.

Sgt. Slaughter was standing nearby and immediately covered her with a towel, and full frontal nudity did not become a regular occurrence on WWE television outside of a regrettable bit with Mae Young the following month, which suggests the promotion knew the incident may have been a bit much if they hoped to retain sponsors.

The flashing incident would turn out to be the most memorable moment of The Kat's run with the company, thus making her WWE career - ahem - a bit of a bust.
