10 Times WWE Creative RUINED Their Biggest Stars

6. John Cena Is Poopy

The summer of 2008 was a strange time to be a WWE fan. Daring to retreat from the "Attitude" of before, the promotion embraced a new PG product. That meant no blood, a little less skin from the Divas than before and absolutely no swear words. Apparently, "sucks" was one of those terms deemed off limits.

It's the only way to explain why John Cena spray painted the words "JBL Is Poopy" across the cowboy's limo live on Raw instead of "JBL Sucks".

The latter would probably have been acceptable to fans, and it would've saved face for Cena. Instead, the man WWE wanted adults to embrace as the top babyface in the entire industry used terminology even Bart Simpson would find lame (and he's the cartoon kid who coined odd '90's staples like, "don't have a cow, man").

With one super-crap piece of wording, WWE kissed goodbye to Cena's bad boy rap image forever. His union with Cryme Tyme, one that had potential before this debacle, was immediately ruined. Both JTG and Shad looked flimsy by association.
