5. The Undertaker Fights Himself

The Undertaker has had to put up with some almighty nonsense from WWE's creative team over the years.

Before Diesel and Mick Foley came along in 1996 to finally give 'The Deadman' something worthwhile, 'Taker had to suffer through meandering feuds against monsters like Giant González, Yokozuna, King Kong Bundy, Kama, Kamala and Mabel. All of those paled in comparison to the WWF's doppelgänger drivel.

At SummerSlam 1994, The Undertaker fought himself. Well, sort of.

In a move that would have fans scratching their heads for decades, the company decided that a painfully slow plodder between matching Undertakers (one played by Brian Lee and introduced by Ted DiBiase) should main event a show also starring a Steel Cage classic between Bret and Owen Hart.

This was the nadir of 'Taker's early years as a character. Fighting a questionable double on one of the biggest pay-per-views of the year and having to follow a 30-minute stormer between the Hart siblings can't have been fun.
