The legendary "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is a man with nothing left to prove. He was an integral part of one of WWE's most applauded eras, has achieved essentially everything there is to do in wrestling and is one of the most worthy Hall of Fame inductees in history. No one could have predicted his career receiving an extra chapter.

After Austin's retirement in 2003, he seemed fully set on never wrestling again. He still made plenty of appearances with WWE, but his time inside the ring was done. His final match against The Rock at WrestleMania XIX was an instant classic, so it seemed like a wise choice.

However, despite going out in such a blaze of glory, the prospect of one more match was always on the fans' minds. But, then, literal decades passed, and those hopes seemed utterly futile. Anytime rumours were abound, they were quickly shot down. The boat had well and truly set sail, and it appeared fans would never get that one last match.

Then, of course, Austin found himself in a No Holds Barred match against Kevin Owens and delivered one final WrestleMania moment. The bout was an absolute blast, and the fact that fans never thought they'd get to see it only made it taste sweeter.
