One of the best pieces of new, original content on the WWE Network were Steve Austin's two controversial podcasts with Vince McMahon and Triple H. Austin has been doing his own (very popular) podcast since April 2013. Sensing an opportunity, WWE asked Austin to do a live video podcast for the WWE Network. The Vince interview, from December 1st 2014, was incredible. Austin answered hard questions about CM Punk, the direction of the company and other things. Vince gave some fascinating answers. Importantly, people tuned in. It was a resounding success. Austin's next podcast with Triple H, from February 3rd 2015, was watched by even more people (even if it wasn't as newsworthy as the first instalment). So everything was great. Both sides must have been happy with the results. Then WWE played an advert for a new Chris Jericho podcast at WrestleMania 31. Although initially confusing, it became clear that Jericho's podcast was replacing Austin's on the Network. WWE apparently made the call because Vince was unhappy with his line of questioning during the Triple H interview and didn't want a repeat in future episodes. While Austin has denied any heat between the two parties, it's clear that everything's as smooth as it could be between the parties. Which leads us to...
