10 Times WWE Stars Made A Mockery Of Their Own Angles

Use this article as a reference whenever WWE's announcers tell you that Asuka's green mist is 'visually debilitating' and 'excruciatingly painful'. Apparently, it's not really that bad once you get the worst of it off. Just ask Paige - she was all smiles mere hours after taking it on the 28 October 2019 Raw.

For some reason, Paige saw fit to post a smiley elevator selfie on social media after being coated in the supposedly deadly substance live on air. Not only did that ruin the mystique of Asuka's gimmick, it also stuck one giant middle finger up at Paige's own selling on the broadcast.

She could've saved herself some time by laughing in Asuka's face on Raw.

Sure, everyone knows wrestling is a work, but why stomp all over someone's gimmick like this? As if that wasn't bad enough, Paige used the same picture again to wish Asuka a happy birthday this past September. Happy Birthday, but LOL! Your mist is totally ineffective!
