9. The Shield Disbands

Like Harvey Dent in The Dark Knight, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins were the Hounds of Justice.

Working to make WWE a better place, The Shield started by siding with CM Punk before turning face against Triple H and the Authority.

We've seen the origin story, so it's time for act two. The Game reformed Evolution with Batista and Randy Orton in a mission to destroy The Shield once and for all. They failed to defeat the Hounds of Justice, but there's always a plan b.

With Evolution letting chaos reign in the WWE, it was down to Rollins to finally snap. He hit Roman with a steel chair and let anarchy reign.

In The Dark Knight, it took the death of his girlfriend for Dent to become Two-Face. For Seth it was all about progressing in the WWE and not being the weak link. Both of them wanted to make the world a better place, but neither of them knew how to deliver justice in an unjust world.

Fortunately for Rollins, he was able to shine on his own. With the help of his new allies, he won Money in the Bank, the United States Championship, and the WWE World Heavyweight title.

Where Batman and Commissioner Gordon were able to stop Two-Face pretty quickly, the Architect dominated WWE until he got injured in 2015.

Ambrose eventually got his revenge; the Lunatic Fringe cashed-in Money in the Bank to take the title from his former ally.

When I'm not trying my hardest to visit all 50 U.S. states, I'm listening to music from the 80s, watching TV from the 90s, and reminiscing about growing up in the 00s. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia so WWE premium live events are on Sunday afternoons for me; the absolute dream.
