10 Times WWE Wrestlers Got Burnt To A Crisp
6. The Undertaker (No Mercy - 2005)
Tony Chimel all but gave away the results of the handicap casket match at No Mercy 2005. Because WWE thought fans were a little slow, he explained the match rules. Rather than say something like, "To obtain victory, a competitor must place their opponent..." he instead went with, "To obtain victory, The Ortons must place The Undertaker in the casket and close the lid." The visibly flustered announcer then rushed out to detail the opposite scenario.
Needless to say, Randy and his pops picked up the win after placing 'The Phenom' in the casket and closing the lid. That wasn't enough for 'The Legend Killer,' though.
Similar to Kane at the 1998 Royal Rumble PPV, 'The Viper' used an axe to break the top of the casket before he doused it in gasoline. Flames erupted, and once more, 'Taker was burnt to a crisp.
At the following Survivor Series, 'Wendy' made his grand return as Randy celebrated in the ring. The casket rolled down moments before "lightning" struck it, setting it on fire. Somehow 'The Deadman' returned from being burned to death by being burned again, and fans were left to believe the seven-foot mortician simply took a multi-month nap in the casket as he healed. Whatever the case, hardly any wrestler has been set ablaze in WWE more times than The Undertaker.
