10 Times WWE Wrestlers Were WAY Better Together Than Apart

8. The Dudley Boyz

In March 2013, Bully Ray won his first ever singles World Title as the full extent of his long form plan to manipulate Hulk Hogan via evil heel stable Aces & Eights was finally revealed.

It was the pinnacle of an excellent singles run in TNA for the famous Dudley Boy, but rather fittingly came to be thanks to continued collusion with his 'brother' D-Von. The two had parted ways a few years earlier, allowing for Ray's relaunch, but as it emerged, the pair had never drifted too far apart after a disappointing feud immediately following their separation.

The same occurred in 2002, when WWE attempted to take a run at singles pushes for both on separate brands. Bubba Ray's reasonable ascent on Raw was crushed under the growing thumb of Triple H over on Monday Night Raw, but the newly christened 'Reverend' D-Von appeared to have legs until the company took far more interest in his sidekick Batista.

Briefly bringing them into conflict on dual-brand pay-per-views, WWE abandoned their severance that November, having barely given up on the Dudley concept thanks to Bubba's continued work with Spike on the flagship show. The two never feuded again whilst working for Vince, with the company showing little interest in the pair as singles acts during their nostalgic 2015 return.
