Mae Young's place in wrestling history speaks for itself, but her incredible toughness during the Attitude Era is another massive part of her legacy that saw a whole new generation of fans put yet more respect on her name. One of the stranger elements to her character during the Attitude Era was that she was booked as a bit of a sex pest. Often scantily clad, Mae was regularly keen to try strip naked for next to no reason, much to the chagrin of the disapproving Fabulous Moolah.

The piece de resistance of her lurid reinvention saw her hooking up with The World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry. They were regularly seen in bed together during skits, as Jerry Lawler shrieked like a Labrador being tasered. This culminated in Mae's pregnancy, where she gave birth to a rubber hand in a move that still begs the question as to what substances were going around the writers' room during these years. The hand even made an appearance during Raw's 1,000th episode, fully grown and pleased to see its parents.
