10 Times You SERIOUSLY Should Have Asked WWE For Refunds

1. WrestleMania IX

Hulk Hogan BROTHER
WWE Network

What really stung about WrestleMania IX is that the two undercard matches boasting any potential were protracted and thus impaired as a result of the sheer stench elsewhere. Shawn Michaels Vs. Tatanka offered some excitement, but the marathon duration only served to magnify the deflating dirty finish. The Steiner Brothers Vs. The Headshrinkers meanwhile also sagged in the middle; the match missed the stiff zip that Rick and Scott's best WWF offerings boasted. Both matches outstayed their welcome so as to not let the real rot set in elsewhere. Mercifully, the likes of Razor Ramon Vs. Boring Babyface Goof Bob Backlund and The Undertaker Vs. Giant Gonzalez were awful, but not overlong Triple H Vs. Sgt. Slaughter awful.

Actually, what really stung about WrestleMania IX was Hulk Hogan resuming his role as top babyface hero by first (incorrectly) racially abusing Yokozuna and then stealing Bret Hart's thunder, framing his moment as if it could not have come any easier for him.

Bret Hart changed the WWF's in-ring style with his skill and graft, and ultimately ravaged his own psyche, in his drive to make the WWF Heavyweight Title mean something.

Hulk Hogan took it to Japan and buried it without once appearing on RAW before dropping it.
