10 TNA Matches You Totally Forgot (That WWE Should Now Book)

6. Kurt Angle Vs AJ Styles

A dream match then as much as it is again now, TNA were fortunate enough to be able to promote multiple iterations of the AJ Styles/Kurt Angle clash, with each more satisfying than the last.

Such was the churn during Angle's surprisingly dense decade with the organisation, fans were spoiled with contests featuring the two. Both the Olympic Gold Medallist and 'The Phenomenal One' were ultra-convincing as polished heels and/or gutsy babyfaces against one another, and even shone in tag team efforts, scooping TNA's Tag Team Titles in a show-stealing effort against Christopher Daniels and Kazarian at 2010's Slammiversary pay-per-view.

Genuine stars and achingly smooth professional wrestlers, Angle and Styles had magnificent chemistry, and a return contest against the company's best all-rounder could be the perfect return to action for the Raw General Manager should he swap the suit for the singlet any time soon.

Though beginning to look his age after some relentless outings at the tail-end of his TNA tenure, Angle's in-built competitiveness would insist upon keeping up with his younger foe, and Styles' capacity as a modern day ring general would aid the match's trajectory if it was even required.
