When Taryn Terrell was signed by WWE to a developmental deal in 2007, she wasn't meant to be anything other than eye candy. A former Playboy cover girl, it's no secret why they hired her, but her strongest attributes were never highlighted during her initial run there. Despite learning her way around the ring in Florida Championship Wrestling, she was brought up to the main roster in June 2008 to serve as the assistant to then-general manager of the ECW brand Teddy Long before replacing him in the role the following spring. As gorgeous as she was, her acting ability was practically nonexistent, and once ECW closed its doors for good in early 2010, WWE transitioned her back into the ring. She was competent inside the squared circle during her time on SmackDown, but she was released before she showed any real signs of improvement. It wasn't until 2012 that she arrived in TNA, and almost immediately, she took the Knockouts division by storm. Starting out as a referee, it wasn't long before she was back to wrestling and she had a fantastic opponent in Gail Kim, who undoubtedly brought her to a level she had never been before. The matches those two contested that summer were nothing short of stellar and she's been a focal point of the division in the years since. She's oddly been off television since the summer, putting her status with the company into question. Nevertheless, she deserves a second chance with WWE after her previous run ended on a sour note. Besides, she would be more than capable of holding her own in the ring against the Four Horsewomen.
