10 Toughest WWE Wrestlers (Who Were Under 6 Foot)
They might be short, but they can still kick your ass.
The wrestling business has always been about pushing the bigger wrestlers that look tougher and appear to be better than the shorter wrestlers. That's the way it's always been whether it's Vince McMahon promoting a show or somebody else. Bigger doesn't usually mean more talented, but it often times leads to more success. Look at how difficult it is for some smaller wrestlers to reach the top of WWE even though it's clear they are obviously more talented than bigger guys. Wrestling is like the circus in that way. Promoters want to put the freaks out there (the bigger guy) instead of the average size guys because the assumption is that fans want to pay to see the freaks, but may be reluctant to do the same for the 5'10" guy. It makes sense in theory. Those smaller guys are often times very talented, though. Some of them are really tough too. That's why we're going to look at some of the toughest "small" guys in the history of WWE. The rules for this are simple. The wrestler has to have a listed height of 6'0" or under. The listed heights are done by WWE. Some of them are fishy like they say that Fit Finlay is 6'2" yet he looks shorter than that. He'd be on here if he was listed as shorter than what WWE puts him as. These are all listed heights on WWE.com, which obviously can be a work in some instances. It's hard to know sometimes who really is tough and who is just presented that way, but as wrestling fans we tend to have a good idea. Here are ten of the toughest performers from WWE history that were six feet tall or shorter.
