10 Trades WWE & AEW Must Make In 2024

2. MJF To WWE

There's a sense of inevitability about MJF to WWE.

The reigning AEW World Champion has been openly talking about this for years now. His All Elite contract runs out in 2024, and pretty much everyone believes he'll wave goodbye to Tony Khan and rush into Triple H's arms. It's either that or TK pays through the nose to keep lil' Max.

Being fair, that is an option, but MJF knows how good he is. AEW has been useful to him, and yet...Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and bigger successes await. You can't keep great talent down, especially when they're so incendiary on the mic and improving all the time in-ring.

Cody Rhodes will surely be extolling the virtues of MJF to anyone who'll listen behind the scenes in WWE too. At 27 years of age, Friedman has the entire pro wrestling world at his feet. It's only a matter of time before he's lighting up premier programming like Raw or SmackDown.
