10 Trades WWE & AEW Must Make In 2024

1. Sami Zayn To AEW

The mere thought of Sami Zayn leaving WWE seemed silly when he was riding high as an unlikely member of The Bloodline then headlining pay-per-views vs. Roman Reigns. Christ, Sami main-evented WrestleMania 39's opening night in 2023, so why would he ever think about going somewhere else?

Two words: Creative satisfaction.

Zayn has been rather candid about his disappointment when revisiting that Elimination Chamber loss to Roman. He understands WWE's stance, obviously, but clearly thinks his babyface swell was worth prolonging. Was sudden headline success and that 'Mania main the peak of Sami in WWE? It's possible.

He's one of the most creative souls this industry has, which should be treasured. Tony Khan should be tripping over himself trying to bend Zayn's ear and offering creative freedom/a berth on the writing staff ASAP. Why not? He'd be quite the asset.
