10 Trades WWE & AEW Need To Make In 2022
6. Brian Cage To WWE
Big beefy man doing big beefy things. If WWE ever had a type, it would seem that former Team Taz titan Brian Cage would be an instant swipe right for Vince and the gang, let's be honest.
At the time of his arrival on the shores of All Elite Wrestling, though, it seemed as though The Machine came equipped with an aesthetic and stature that was sorely lacking on Dynamite. He was an undoubted monster who could also work with whoever was thrown his way. And with AEW not possessing the beefiest of rosters, you'd have thought Cage would carve out a comfortable place on the show within months.
But aside from the odd enjoyable encounter with the likes of Hangman Page and Darby Allin, the big guy just hasn't really connected with the AEW faithful in the way many would have hoped.
Whether he would be presented as a special attraction in a similar vein to a Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns, or go on a wrecking ball run en-route to a world title like fellow Impact Impact Wrestling alumni Bobby Lashley, a shot at making it within WWE's walls could be just what Swolverine is looking for.
