10 UFC Fighters That Would Make Great Pro Wrestlers

3. Israel Adesanya

In just three years, Israel Adesanya has cemented himself as one of the most outstanding UFC fighters of his generation. After lengthy spells in kickboxing and smaller MMA promotions, 'The Last Stylebender' set the octagon alight with a sharp TKO win over Rob Wilkinson at UFC 221.

At middleweight, he remains undefeated (his record is blemished by a light heavyweight loss earlier this year) and has dissected a litany of opponents with his prodigious counter-striking abilities. On top of being an unpredictable and entertaining fighter to watch (bar that surprisingly sloth-like showdown with Yoel Romero at UFC 248), Adesanya oozes charisma.

From amazing dance sequences just prior to his title fights to hilarious interviews, 'Izzy' knows how to pull a crowd and keep them engaged. A known manga and anime fanatic, he often references shows such as Naruto, even adopting the Rock Lee character's signature pose before fights.

As a pro wrestler, Adesanya could use his kickboxing prowess to adopt a style similar to that of strong style favourite Katsuyori Shibata (sans the shoot headbutts hopefully). On the mic, his blend of low brow trash talk and pop cultural references would make him a hit over night. His candid discussions in the past about overcoming bullying and other such adversities growing up could add to a babyface side of him as well.

With the pyrotechnics and pageantry of a major pro wrestling show, he could likely give Triple H a run for his money on the elaborate entrance front as well.
