4. Cris Cyborg Vs Angela Magana (In The Street)
Now here's something of a modern catalyst for physical confrontation - cyber bullying.
Cris Cyborg appeared to be on the receiving end of some ill-advised Facebook posts from Angela Magana, the latter regarding her as a 'cheat' and 'getting away' with using transgender medicine. Another post poked fun at Cyborg's appearance when visiting a cancer hospital - dressed as a superhero - for kids dealing with the illness.
So, when Cyborg caught wind of Magana at a 2017 UFC retreat in Las Vegas, she had two options - have a civil sit down with her colleague or kick her ass.
She punched Magana in the face.
It's hard to argue with Cyborg's reaction, as her father was diagnosed with cancer before her visit to the children's hospital. This would have made for a fight with some sizeable personal stakes, yet it never came to fruition and Cyborg has since departed for Bellator.
Of course, we can't condone public assault, however, when you use an act of personal kindness to bully a person trying to do some good, you accept the consequences coming your way.
