10 Underrated NXT TakeOver Matches You Need To Revist
4. Sanity Vs The Authors Of Pain – Brooklyn III
In one of the chunkiest tag team matches ever, The Authors of Pain defended their tag titles against Sanity.
it should have been a lot chunkier, with Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain set to represent the faction. However, during a pre-match brawl, Eric Young decided to lead his troops from the front and tagged himself in before Dain got the chance.
This led to an interesting structure. Young would get worked over by the bigger team then hot tag in Wolfe, who would show everybody why he was the most underrated member of the group and one of the most underrated talents in WWE right now.
The German maniac threw stiff shots and even some suplexes on his much larger opponents, but Akam and Rezar soon regained control, sending Young spilling to the outside.
And then everyone went a bit mad.
Nikki Cross tried to get involved with a dive, but was cut off by Paul Ellering. Ellering gets distracted, so Cross dives onto Akam on the outside. Akam catches her, so Killian Dain - doing what any sane person would do to help their actual wife - runs at Akam, sending all three of them crashing through a table.
