Well, when in Philly...

Adam Cole and Aleister Black had been getting on each other's nerves ever since The Panama City Playboy first arrived in NXT. After costing Black a shot at the NXT Championship, Cole was put into an Extreme Rules match with The Dutchman at the request of William Regal. The idea of these two going hell for leather with weapons was a tantalising one and it did not let up.

Both men are great workers and used the stipulation to their advantage. The most memorable spot of the night came when Black reversed an attack by Cole and delivered a fireman's carry slam onto the backs of top upright chairs. A simple, yet horribly effective bump that probably feels just as bad as it looks.

Other highlights include Black going crashing through two tables off the top rope after Cole superkicked a chair into his face and Cole taking another horrific bump into a ladder in the corner.

In the end, Black won this entertaining spotfest with a Black Mass, setting himself up nicely to take the NXT Championship off Andrade at the very next TakeOver show.
