Throughout his two year tenure in NXT, Finn Bálor took part in his fair share of dream matches with the likes of Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, and Hideo Itami. But his premier bout against Adrian Neville often gets overlooked, despite being an instant classic at TakeOver: Rival in February 2015.

Then again, for a show that featured a fantastic four-way women's match and the initial encounter between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, it isn't hard to see why this match tends to be forgotten. They went on to have another two more matches in NXT, but it was their match at TakeOver that marked the passing of the torch from one former champ to a future one.

Bálor and Neville both cut their teeth in other wrestling promotions across the world prior to arriving in NXT, so it was a treat to see them incorporate those various style types into their match. It was an exciting affair from start to finish, and with an NXT Championship title shot up for grabs, it was difficult for fans not to be invested in the action.

Neville went on to wrestle a few more matches in NXT before getting called up to the main roster, but this was his last truly tremendous match there. And what a way to go out
